Format: Four-Person Dropout Scramble

This new event adds a fun draft-style twist to tournament play. “A” players will serve as team captains, with “B”, “C”, and “D” players drafted to complete each 4-person team. In the dropout scramble format, everyone hits a tee shot, the player whose tee shot is used sits out the rest of that hole, and the remaining three players finish the hole as a team.

Players age 60 and older will play from the gold tees, while all other players will play from the white tees. Handicap brackets will be based on the field, with “A” players representing the lowest 25%, “B” players the next 25%, “C” players the next 25%, and “D” players the final 25%.

Team Draft – Thursday, October 8 at 7 p.m. at The Captain’s Pick. Players are encouraged to attend, if possible, especially “A” players, who will be responsible for making team selections.
