Our mission has always been to provide a quality product and give exceptional, consistent service. The Resort specializes in wedding receptions with the ability to handle up to 325 guests. Each event requires organization and attention to detail. We pride ourselves on being able to provide the attention and service you deserve. Your event can be tailored to most needs and you can rest assured we will do all we can to make your day a special one.

The Links Restaurant is a full-service restaurant that can meet your every need. With a wide selection of entrees and the flexibility to offer buffet or plated dinners, the Links Restaurant will tailor the menu to your unique reception.

The Resort also offers on-sight overnight accommodations. We have a motel complex that has 27 separate rooms and several two-bedroom townhomes for rent. All units are within walking distance of the Conference Center and work nicely for guests wishing to spend the night with us.


 
We would highly recommend the Lake Panorama National Conference Center to anyone looking for a wedding reception venue. The staff is very friendly and they were there to help with anything we needed, event the last minute requests from the bride. They were willing to work with what we wanted to make the day perfect. The food for our rehearsal dinner and reception was excellent! Great service, great pricing, highly recommend!

Fees and Policies

Facility Rental

$1,250 Covers the facility rental, food tasting and setup of tables, chairs, basic linens, place settings and dance floor.

Decorating & Set Up

The Resort will set-up the banquet facilities including tables, chairs, linens, place settings and dance floor.

Decorating is the sole responsibility of the wedding party. Access to the facility is available at 8 a.m. on the day of your reception. If the facility is needed before the reception date an additional fee of $500 will apply. All decorations and equipment must be removed from the facility immediately after the reception. A $250 clean-up fee may apply for additional clean up above and beyond normal circumstances. The resort is not responsible for damaged, lost or left behind items from you event.

Food & Beverage

No food or beverage items purchased outside the Resort are permitted in the facility. Exceptions include the special “theme” baked goods such as wedding cakes, mints, etc. with prior consent.

Alcoholic Beverage Service Policies

Lake Panorama National Resort is the sole provider of all bar services at the Resort. The State of Iowa prohibits any alcoholic beverages being brought to or taken from the Resort premises. The Resort reserves the right to refuse alcoholic beverage service to any guest who appears intoxicated or to close the bar if it deems it is required by State of Iowa statutes. Last call will be given 30 minutes prior to the last song played by the DJ and will close after the end of the last song.

Table Linen

White table clothes and napkins are included in the facility rental. A small selection of additional colors is available from our linen company at no additional charge. Ask the Event Manager for more details. Special linen orders from a third party will be passed on to the wedding party.

Lodging & Room Blocks

Lake Panorama National Resort offers on site lodging accommodations for your reception. The Resort will block motel units and townhomes for your guests to reserve on the night of your reception. The number of units depends on your expected attendance. Rooms will not be held until a signed contract has been received with deposit. Un-reserved units will be released 30 days prior to the reception.

Prohibited Items & Activities

The following items and activities are prohibited. You acknowledge that neither you, nor your Invitees, are permitted to do any of the following while on the Resort property.

  • Conduct any acts that are criminal.

  • Promote illegal behavior or do anything to enable illegal acts to be performed.

  • Use confetti, Silly String (or like products), or glitter of any kind.

  • Use tape, tacks, or staples on any walls, floors, doors, furniture, or existing décor.

  • Engage in gambling of any kind.

  • Use candles not properly contained in a vessel taller than the candle itself and built to catch all drippings.

  • Bring in food, drink, or alcohol.

Vendors

Outside vendors are welcome to decorate – please note that any visible marks or damages to the Resort property will not be tolerated and may be assessed a damage fee. Vendors must adhere to Resort policies. Ask Events Manager about any decorating questions or for approval on any questionable actions.

Food Tasting

A private tasting is available to the bride and groom at no additional cost. Contact the Events Manager to book a private tasting. During the tasting the bride and groom will have the opportunity to speak with the Resort Executive Chef and the Event Manager.

Deposit & Billing

  1. At the time of booking a $1250 deposit is due. This deposit covers the facility rental, food tasting and setup of tables, chairs, basic linens, place settings and dance floor.

  2. 30 days prior to your reception a Banquet Event Order outlining all costs for your reception will be provided. 50% of your estimated reception cost is due at this time.

  3. 10 days prior to your reception a final guaranteed number of guests is due. This number is considered a guarantee and is not subject to reduction.

  4. After the reception, final payment is due within 10 days of receipt of final bill. If payment is not received, the credit card on file will be billed for the remaining balance.

Cancellations and Refund Policy

All receptions canceled 12 months or more in advance will receive a refund equal to the deposit amount. Any event cancelled within 12 months of the event will forfeit any amounts paid toward the reception.

Indemnity & Hold Harmless Agreement

Guests shall indemnify and hold LLC, LLC and its affiliates harmless from any and all claims, suits, losses, damages, and expenses on account of injury to any party in connection with the function or resulting from damage or destruction of any Resort property by guests or any attendee of the function on the Resort premise. Liability for damage will be charged accordingly.
