Stay Cool At The Pool

The LPN pool is open for the 2017 season. Annual memberships for LPA members are $85 for a single and $140 for a family, with higher prices for non-LPA members. Membership forms can be printed online and sent to or dropped off at Lake Panorama National. Those who don't purchase an annual membership must pay a $3 daily fee.

New this year is the convenience of ordering from a limited menu from the Links Restaurant. Flat bread pizzas, wings, cheese balls and fries are available to be delivered poolside. Also available are drinks and ice cream, just place your order at the pool check-in window.

LPN Women's June 22 Tournament is Full

For 2017, the Lake Panorama National women’s golf league committee decided to try something new with their annual women's tournament. Instead of hosting their traditional two-woman event, this year's tournament will be a four-woman best-shot. In an effort to bring in more outside players, the committee limited each four-person team to a maximum of two members of the LPN women’s league. Teams also can consist of all non-league women, or just one league member.

While past two-woman tournaments have been popular, participation in recent years has hovered in the 100-120 range. This year's event now is full, with 36 teams and 144 players. That's great news, as it brings in more immediate revenue to the LPN. It also introduces more golfers to the LPN golf resort, which translates into more future revenue.

For those entered in the June 22 tournament, a reminder check-in will begin at 8 a.m., with breakfast available. There will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m., with prizes awarded in several flights. Golf will be followed by a luncheon in the LPN banquet room. Questions? Email jaallen9@aol.com

Mark Your Calendar for Friday Couples

At Lake Panorama National, it will be '70's theme night. Sign up as a couple or with another couple for this 4-person scramble. More details available here.
