16th Annual LPN Solheim is History
The 16th annual LPN Solheim was held this past weekend. The theme was Peace-Love-Golf, with the event led by team captains Gayle Shackelford and Tracy Welberg. This year's tournament involved a first-ever team shootout Friday night, as part of the kickoff for this event open to all LPN women golfers. Seven teams competed in the shootout, with the winning team consisting of Carla Fitzgerald, Mary Hills, Shanell Wagler, Tricia Steffen, Julie Wykoff and Brenda Snyder. The competition Saturday was tight, with Team Shackelford taking the win over Team Welberg by a single point. Following an awards dinner, team captains for the 2016 Solheim were announced — Diane Duzenbury and Karen Hanson.
