LPN Weekly - 3/23/14

Course is Open, Now We Need Warm Weather!

The LPN course is officially open. The next step is getting decent weather so golfers will feel like playing!  As soon as it looks like there will be consistently warm days, pro shop hours will be expanded. For now, the shop is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday. When you do play, check in at the pro shop for updates on any cart restrictions.

New merchandise is arriving daily in the pro shop. To help us get through these cold spring days, new sweatshirts and knit caps are unpacked, priced and on display. This is a good time to check for worn grips, or other equipment that needs upgraded or replaced. Gary and Mike are ready to help you get ready for the new season. March Madness Specials This Week at The Links

Tuesday's home-cookin' special is hot beef sandwich. Wednesday's "South of the Border" offering is chicken chimichangas, plus chips and salsa, Spanish rice and refried beans. Lasagna is Thursday's "That's Italian" special, with breadsticks and a tossed salad. For dinner, these mid-week specials are $9.95 plus tax and tip. For lunch, smaller portions are offered at lower prices.

Don't forget the fish and shrimp buffet each Friday evening until Easter. The all-you-care-to-eat buffet is $11.95. Besides the fish and shrimp, the buffet offers a nice selection of hot and cold sides and dessert.

Weekly drawings for a free lunch in The Links continue through April. To enter, eat lunch at The Links Monday through Friday and you'll be given an entry form. A drawing is held each Friday from all business cards and entry forms submitted that week. Ross Lemke is this week's Lunch Bunch winner.
