This week's home-cookin' special on Tuesday is meat loaf. Wednesday's "South of the Border" special is chicken chimichangas, with chips, salsa, Spanish rice and refried beans. Asiago Bake with breadsticks and a tossed salad is the "That's Italian" special this Thursday. All dinner specials are $9.95 plus tax and tip.
Come to The Links for Super Bowl XLVIII Feb. 2
Plan to join other football fans on Sunday, Feb. 2, at The Links for Super Bowl 48, as the Seattle Seahawks take on the Denver Broncos. Kickoff is 5:30 p.m. but come early to start enjoying these Super Bowl Party specials — $5 chili dogs, 35-cent wings, $1 draws, and $3 pitchers.
Serenity Now Yoga Retreat at LPN Feb. 28-March 2
Serenity Now, a Weekend Renewal Retreat will be held at the LPN Feb. 28 through March 2. Teri Lynn Daggett, founder of Vegiterilyn Lifestyles, is the retreat director. Teri Lynn loves bringing people together for meaningful experiences through yoga, meditation and time in nature.
All skill levels are welcome. The retreat begins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, with an exploratory yoga class of basic movements, sequences and observation of the breath and the body. It ends at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, March 2, with a “closing circle” event.

Early Bird Discount Ends Friday
Last chance - all 2014 LPN golf memberships paid in full by this Friday, Jan. 31 will be at the "Early Bird" discounted rates. Prices go up Feb. 1. The membership applications show the advantage of this payment option, or you can call the pro shop at 641-755-2024 for details. Winter pro shop hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday.
