LPN Resort Weekly - 12/2/2018

Pay by December 29 for Chance to Win

Golf membership at Lake Panorama National Resort is undeniably the choice for those who value a membership that has so much to offer. There are two great golf courses at Lake Panorama, both offering annual memberships at affordable, competitive rates. Lake Panorama National is an 18-hole course located on the east side of Lake Panorama. Panorama West is a nine-hole course on the west side of the lake.

Those who were 2018 golf members at either Lake Panorama National or Panorama West soon will receive renewal forms for the 2019 season. There are memberships for LPA property owners, Non-LPA property owners, Distance (available for those who do not own a home at Lake Panorama, and who live more than 18 miles from LPN), and Special First Time (available for those who have never been a Lake Panorama National member). All membership forms are available on our website.

LPA property owners and Non-LPA property owners who pay their 2019 LPN and Panorama West golf memberships in full by December 29 will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a custom set of irons, $500 LPN Diners Club credit, putter, golf bag, FootJoy special order shoes, 2019 single pool membership, or a 9-hole playing lesson with Gary Babcock, Head PGA Professional.

As an added incentive, those who pay in full by January 31, 2019, will receive a $100 LPN Gift Card for LPN members, a $25 LPN Gift Card for Panorama West members, or a $125 LPN Gift Card for those joining as an All-Inclusive Resort & Golf member.

If you were a 2018 golf member at either course, watch your mailbox for the 2019 membership mailing. We look forward to another great golf season in 2019, and hope you will join us!

#8 LPN Tee Box Project

One fall project at Lake Panorama National was to improve the middle tee box on the eighth hole. The original tee box was 30 years old, and was a safety concern because of steps made out of railroad ties. The new tee box, which now can be used for both white and yellow tees, if desired, is 250 square feet larger than the original. Golfers can enter the tee box from the cart path without using steps.

The tee box will settle over winter, and be sodded in the spring. It should be ready for play by June 1. The work was done by the LPN grounds crew, headed by Dan Wollner, grounds superintendent, with assistance from Larry Wykoff, Gary Duzenbery, and Jeff Hopkins. Thanks also to the LPA for supplying two truckloads of dirt and a skid loader.
