General Information

The state of Iowa prohibits any alcoholic beverages being brought to or taken from the Resort premises. No food or beverage items purchased outside the Resort are permitted in the function rooms. Exceptions include the special “theme” baked goods such as wedding cakes, etc. with prior consent.

Insurance and Indemnifications

Guests and members shall indemnify and hold the Resort and its affiliates harmless from any and all claims, suits, losses, damages, and expenses on account of injury to any party in connection with the function or resulting from damage or destruction of any Resort property by quests or any attendee of the function of the Resort premise. Liability for damage will be charged accordingly.

Alcoholic Beverage Service Policies

As required by the State of Iowa, the Resort reserves the right to refuse alcoholic beverage service to any guest who appears intoxicated or to close the bar if it deems it is required by State of Iowa statutes. Additionally, the last call will be given 15 minutes prior to the last song played by the DJ and will close after the end of the last song.

Billings

An invoice for the event will be issued on the first day following the reception. Payment in full is due within 14 days of the reception by cash, check, debit or credit card. If payment is not received within 14 days of the reception; full payment will be processed using the credit card on file.

Reservations and Guarantees

In order for LPN to prepare the correct amount of food and have enough seating, the number of people attending the reception is required one week in advance.

Deposit

A deposit of $500.00 is required for the reception at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. Advance deposits are non-refundable 90 days prior to the event (unless otherwise stated in the proposal). The deposit will be applied to all charges incurred at the event and will be reflected in the final billing.

Set Up / Room Rental Fee

Lake Panorama National will be in charge of the set-up of the room (tables/chairs, linens, place settings, and dance floor). The wedding party is in charge of decoration, wedding cake, nuts/mints, DJ, and photographer. After the reception, LPN will collect all the center pieces from the tables and gather them on one table. Any other displays will need to be taken down the following day by the wedding party. LPN accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring to any center pieces or displays. The Resort charges $750.00 for set-up / room rental for the banquet room and an additional $200.00 for seating in the west dining room for larger weddings.
